Default Wheel opinions please

Basically my current wheels (the white racelines) have been sold and i always loved the look of my car on those wheels, and im now stuck with trying to keep the look of how the car once was, in my opinion agressive and tough!!

i recently purchased a mint set of Rondells and had them painted this colour, but to be honest im now really unsure if they will suit the colour of my car.

ive even hunted around and found a pic of a malard escort cos on relatively similar coloured rondells but even so, im still unsure if it looks good or not

My next only option in my opinion is the Comp MO's.
again personally i dont think that the 8x18's really do it justice
(only pics i could find - so ignore its WRC replica)

But what about the 9x18 Comp's in white again.....?

Could this be an ideal replacement, to try and carry on the way the car once looked?
(again only a guide pic)

Honest opinions please, and sorry its a bit long and boring

White comps would look mint
Looked mint on the old wheels too!!

I'm not a bit fan of dark coloured wheels tbh,

white wheels personallly, or silver, looks very bland in darker wheels

all depends on personal taste, personally i would have probably kept the rondells silver or have white mo's

9x18s or the original wheels, the 8x18s look lame, as do the rondells.

people should realise its not colour or style that makes a rim, its how they sit, width and offset is king.

Have to say I prefer the design of the Compos but the colour of the Rondells look spot on for the car....

Go for the 9" Mo's or go for something completey different.. it gets a bit boring because people always seem to stick to certain wheels for the Escos.. I know theres not many out there but other whells can look good as well as mo's, Rondells etc..

Buy the Raceline's back!

think the 9x18's suit it out of them all.

the rondells will look 'nice' not 'ard'

think the old comps will be better, ok, they are common but they look good.

my old one on white comps.

i fully agree with you all about the comps, they do rock.

Dan, Racelines are a no go mate, bad experiences with magnesium wheels! althought id give anything to have a set that were not weak, but i agree its probably a big fuck up in the looks department letting them go

Dave, your car looked pukka.
never really knew you then but vaguely knew your car

Jase, your only biased as you now have a set of racelines

i think it will probably be the Comp MO route, closest ill get to the looks i always wanted.

Proper Mag wheels Ron, and speedline won't make them unless you commit to 12 wheels IIRC (3 sets of 4)!

About 2k a set without tyres I think!

I thought you bought Jon's Racelines Kelv???

Personally if you was gonna go for Comps, go for the 9x18's in White or Gold. Failing that a nice set of Speedlines like the Norway WRC car.

9x18's & now running with no spoiler too

Give Scotty a call, he'll have loads of wheels lying around

they fill the arches mate as they are et 15 the 9 x 18 are et 20 so they work out the same only difference is you can run a wider tyre on the 9 but 235 is wide enouth i think
