Its the same old story, there will be loads on here that have had bad experiences with AVA over the years.

you seem to be getting all defensive over the knocking one out over the RR printout

as i said....whats the point in giving a car the torture of the rollers other than to please a customer....have you ever considered that before and after readings can be tweaked by the RR operator? just to please the customer? I.E throttle maybe not be held fully to the floor on first run until they have "set the car up"

like i said dyno sheets are for a certain type of people knocking one out over

i am in no way suggesting this is the case with ava before you all start as i have only heard good things about them

Not getting defensive at al, you seem to be the one getting annoyed when someone says anything against RJM.

Why did they take 7.5 housr to chip my car.

Why did they say i had modded it even more when i took it back.

Why did they give shit customer dervice and say it wasnt there problem.

You seem to know them well enough so you should be able to answer the questions.

we only ran it to see what it had before he started work on it, its going to get a ss exhaust made on Monday, it'll be getting a mappable ecu stuck in fairly soon as well. he's also thinking about NOS.

every garage/tuner will have bad stories to tell. ive spent a few thousand quid at rjm over the last few years (mostly on my cossie converted celica)and found them to be decent service (although i did sit for over 2 hours waiting for them to change 2 tyres."were working on it now" etc)they do a thorough job but are a bit to expensive for me to use again. were wanting over Ł950 for a full exhaust system to be made up for my bmw using powerflow stuff im sure they removed their rolling road a while ago.

i used them all the time when i lived in rosyth but now ive moved over the water i wont cross that forth road bridge unless absolutely neccesary. once after just spending over Ł1500 on a new turbo and set up i was charged 17p for a washer. i know nothing in life is free but i thought that was a bit much

rjm. i found falkland to be a bit offhand and snooty in their general manner when getting possible quotes for work to be done so have never used them. clive and roy at rjm have always been helpful and friendly and have never had any shoddy work problems from them but have found them to be just a bit expensive imo.
