Probably because it's a Mini van and they weigh more.

he's probably got more weight from the suspension, bigger brakes, roll cage etc

it's a cool car, but he still looks such a noddy with that stupid flat steering wheel driving position that minis have. it must be like driving a small bus

But a mini engine weighs an absolute ton. Surely the integra engine saves ALOT of weight just by replacing the stupidly heavy A series.
