Picked up a top marques mag the other day and found my self on the scooby page
I really like the look of P1's and I only get to drive my cos for a few months a year (infact I have only done 600 miles this year) I could use the scooby all year round.
has any one drove one and what are they really like?

also please help me change my mind and make me keep the cos!!!!

Hi mate i have had my Escort cossy for 4 years and a Evo 6 nearly 3 and the dark side is the best and if you had asked me a year ago i would say go for it but i think the Escort will not lose its value and i think in the next 5 years + they will be like the RS500 is now.

So yes the Jap stuff is great ( just orderd a 350Z) but the cossy is the last real Cosworth road car made! and as much as i think the 350Z looks good the escort just looks hard, now that you canot get with the jap stuff.

The Escort is what you dreamed of years ago don't sell it

Steve, you will just have to use the escort a bit more then.

The Scoobys are getting stolen a lot too,especially the P1's.

Only 1000 P1's made too.

Keep the escort imo,but it is a lot of money just sitting there.

I can't ever see myself buying a jap car, i don't dispute that they are fast & handle supreme over cossies. Only in my opinion they look shit, the only jap car i would possibly own is a evo 6 but that is unlikely as they are far too expensive for what they are & are of no use to me with a measly fuel range. Stick with a cossie for for playtime & get yourself a descent German car for everyday. Sorry its late & iv'e just got back from the pub.
