Default sloppy garage workmanship

Any of you guys had problems with poor work from garages ?

I use same guy all the time he is pretty good and this was probably and over sight but he did a cv joing for me yesterday, and today when working on the car I discovered, there was no cable tie on the boot and grease all over my koni's and white compo's, had to use brake cleaner on the back of the discs aswell they were ground in with grease

wot a feckin mess

bloody pisses me off when people dont take time and care over my car, when im paying for it, and another thing dirty finger prints on my paint work, bang out of order

anyone else had problems ?

aye mate you'd expect more effort than that on your motor especially if you're a loyal customer so to speak.

need some polish for the oily/greasy finger prints though- they're a bitch to get off

took the very same car to a certain performance garage when I first got it, I knew the dampers were buggered on the COILOVERS............. guess what- they replaced then with KONI@S without consulting me!!

Would have replaced them with coilovers given the choice

Its funny how the Motor Trade is constantly banging on about how its changed, how its churning out better quality work and not just bodging things.

Shame its not true!

Its just laziness mate. Why do the job properly when you can do it faster But when you do find someone that gives a shit. Shout their praises EVERY where they go. Oh and shouldnt a CV boot have one of the metal clips that you crimp (cant think of the name) rather than a Cable tie?
