morning all, had my car chipped by jamsport yesterday who did a top job car now pulls sooo much harder

however, the set up seems to have made worse my stuttering problem. the cars fine when accelerating, idling, and coasting with no throttle, but when driving at constant speed/revs, in any gear (say 30mph in 4th) she'll stutter and kangaroo quite violently sometimes. There is also a slight hesitation for a second when accelerating.

On the test drive there was a slight hesitation, but tupper said it could be a worn cam lobe.

However, once id left the m1 at notts and drove at 60 mph the rest of the way behind lorries etc, it was kangerooing quite bad.

Now is there anything i can check before i take it back to jamsport to have a look... air leak???

the fuelling is spot on, and its had new plugs.

Remember when idling and on boost the car seems to run perfect. its just at slight throttle keeping speed constant.


oh, the car made 170 bhp and 205 lbft at 15 psi

ive rang them for some ideas and im gonna take it to them to try and sort it tomorrow, but is there anything i can check beforehand?

it also kangeroos when you accelerate slightly, but not when you accelerate hard.

possible fuel filter problem especially if the car ok when you are accerating hard, when the last time the filter was changed
