Compression ratios on a YB
I'm not to clued up on the compression side of things. Say if you had a lower compression engine would this make the car anymore laggy etc ?
Whats the pros and cons of lowered v standard compression ??

Ok, some real basics that hopefully people wont argue about too much.
Lower compression means you can make more torque from the engine (ie safely burn more in one cycle)
Lower compression will make the car "flatter" when off boost
Lower compression will make the car "flatter" at very high RPM on a YB unless you have a turbo capable of flowing massive air volumes (T4 or more)
Lower compression allows for HUGE midrange torque potentially, and is far better for sustained use producing big torque than high comp which can lead to heat issues in those circumstances.
Im saying no more as it will cause an arguement if I do, lol
