compared to the last 2 years it was rather quiet.
i was sitting in the stand for quite a bit of it. and when i looked behind and saw not 1 car in the queue i couldnt believe it.

I did see Karl.... but he wasnt going to break any records....
For pushing a buggy.....
I did think the Old Skool Ford lot kinda stole the show a little..... especially with Kev Warne running 10.50

wtf,,,, ok i admit i spent fuck all money at the show apart from the RIP OFF 14 quid for 2 burgers, manky chips and beans and 2 bottles of coke but the old school cars where class,,,, and that jet car,,,,, well everyone knows i love that thing
though tbh i didnt look at any of the cars on show,,, didnt even see the passionford stand as such apart from when we walked up to talk to whilee
but we spent all day watching the strip and enjoyed it tbh,,,, ok a few more cars would have been nice but its the first year ive actually bothered to watch the strip
think the central lot done a good job,, considering think they need to think about ways to get traders there who have stuff the people wanna buy rather than some mopeds/pink steering wheel covers and fancy plates
but all in all was a good show i thought,,, though 15 quid is a ripp off to get in as is the fucking price of food

shings i aint knocking the show at all, tbh im not into looking at the same saph cossies all the time anyway
so the old school boys i thought made it more enjoyable, shame the fiat 126's wasnt about aswell as they was also cool last year
i wasnt gonna actually go tbh, but REAL glad i did
was a good show and its generally the best show to go but not sure if thats cause of the piss up or not but either way i really liked it

To be fair, I thought the show would be crap and I wasn't going to bother going, but I am really pleased I did as I had a TOP day out, and even managed to get slightly sunburnt
Has to be said as well, the organisers are an absolute credit to the RSOC, good to see security walking through the cars looking out for thieves and calling people over the tannoy when they found problems, donnington could learn a hell of a lot
£15 was a tad on the expensive side, but can't really moan for a full days entertainment, and the red Mk2 made my day, 10.5 , jezuz that thing hooked up well, as did most of the old skool stuff, great to see 30 year old cars running times that most cossies can only dream of . Great to see Tib Hit a 11.1 as well, gotta be a late 10 in that car this year surley ? And my mate alex managed a 13.6 on a 4x4 saff with a T3 on greens and a very slippery clutch Jet car, wow awsome...........
Shame the trade stands were a bit poor, but I suppose they have to justify thier time and outlay, but overall a good day out, well done to the organisers again

Im running a ZF diff with 3:7:5 diff ratio. Quaife two piece halfshafts and shortened atlas axle. You cant really have a 4 link with nothing else, you need the panhard rod to stop the axle from moving side to side or a watts linkage. Some rally boys have a 4 link with leaf springs still but i dont see the point to be honest, you get much more adjustability with coilovers.
Im running Leda coilovers with 14" long srpings.
Im nbot giving anymore away otherwise il have other people catching up to me up the strip lol

Traders at shows are a thing of the past
I did central day 3 years ago and it was one of my best ever shows , but sadly over the last 2 years it has got worse and worse , people just pick stuff up and ask the price then say " Huu i can get it cheaper of e/bay "
It takes all day friday to load a van , drive down sat , and get a hotel
Do the show sunday , then spend all day monday unloading the van
Total 4 days and aprox £120 in fuel £80 for a hotel , food / drink etc and wages ,,To do a show like central day costs aprox £500 to £600 just to have tossers tell you they can buy stuff cheaper of e/bay
I havent done any shows for the last 2 years and will never do any again
sad to say people just want traders to come just so they have somthing to look at , not to actually buy anything

i love central day and always have, this year though i spent too much time catching up with people than seeing the show really.and tracey also said i normally go round and earmark cars i want to see running but this year i didnt
one observation i did make was that the standard of the saffs was very poor.a few gooduns like D47 COS(BLACK ONE) but on the whole dissappointing i know they aint worth as much as the 3 dr and escy but that doesnt mean they shouldnt be looked after.im glad im getting mine back to her old glory
