quick question, s.e.c.s. moniter

just got a second hand s.e.c.s. moniter, what is the red and black wire for, there are
6 wires all together, white,blue,,green,yellow, red and black then there is another set of red and black wires which are seperate , what do these do as the unit takes its power from the red and black that are bunched together,

SO , I JUST TAPE THEM UP OUT OF THE WAY TILL I GET A W.I. SYSTEM FITTED THEN???
