What exactly do you want to do with it though? If you're wanting to get into drifting then sure a S14 would be a good choice. If you want something nice to cruise around in with a nice stereo in then a 328 might be nice. Caining around the streets. Maybe an early Impreza? or a Saff.

for eaxample Are you into looks or performance?

As above, depends on a whole stack of things.

What does it have to be used for?
Does it have to be economical?
Are there insurance restrictions?

etc etc

Be very lucky to get a good one for 4k.

200SX S14a is easily best VFM is we talking RWD, by far.

Lexus (well, toyota) Soarer is a good look too, as is a R33GTST.

But fir me, S14a wins, as you can get a real nice one for 4k

Yup ive known a few peeps that have kept em standard or stage 1 tune and they have been no troubles at all

my previous saph was full stage 3 ,awsome power but would be a better drive if stage 1 tbh

Cheers for the comments guys, so far the top 5 are...

1) 200 SX
2)BMW 328
3)2wd Saff
4)MR2
5)Golf GTI turbo (yes i do know its not rwd )

Think I'm prob gonna get a 200 cos my mates just bought one and its pretty quick and its still runnin standard boost.

Looks like i'll have to keep the Escort Si in the garage so I can keep coming on here

Don't make a decision based on what people say on here, drive them all and decide what's best for what you want the car for/to do.
