Default anybody here buy houses to let????

Reason i ask is my next door neighbour has just dropped the bombshell that hes selling up to move in with his missus, i just know that living in Crewe i'll end up with a polish family next door or some low life scumbag smackhead family!!!! there would be a great opportunity to buy at a cheap price as needs some investment but if renovated and let at a very good rate the outlay would soon recoup. Part furnished 2 up 2 downs in this town can go for £450 pm no problems, mint ones £550 easily...........somebody please save me from certain misery

I have a couple at the moment, if you have savings to buy it outright then all the better but if not then its fairly easy to get a fairly high interest mortgage whereby the income from rent will cover the mortgage.

Just make sure you can let it as you will be paying out if its vacant and if something (such as boiler - its happened to me) goes bang then you need to shell out.

All in all, a sound investment is property.

i just sold a car to a lovely man from crewe,he was polish mind
but a good bloke
thing is with renting though you could have a fred west move in
and you wouldn't know at first
the only way to guarantee no problems is buy it yourself
you do the choosing of who rents it
and say no thanks if a pikey from middlewich turns up in his
transit tipper

i dont have the cash to buy it....i wish i did

oh well a couple of lesbians would be nice, i just want somebody with a bit of respect to buy it, ive worked damn hard for what ive got and i dont want a scum bag family or an ignorant pole next door, maybe im too quick to judge the poles but they dont make any effort to speak english, have any manners or even acknowledge you in the street.

Fingers crossed i'll get some nice people, wish i have the ££££ as it'll be cheap and a great investment for somebody

Polaks wont spend much time at home as they always seem to be grafting away to send money home.
