I'm planning on signing up to it as well. Nice little thing at the bottom says its regulated by the FSA, which gives it a bunk up on Paypal.

Cheers

I thought Paypal was regulated by the FSA - just not as a bank but as an Electronic Funds Transfer system (when it's blatantly a bank).

So you'd have to check out Google checkout to see if the FSA class it as a bank or another Electronic Funds Transfer system like Paypal.

It wouldn't be hard to be better than Paypal though in terms of service.

Cheers,

Andy

i HATE the fact that Ebay and Paypal are one company - they are cunts.

Why is it banned on ebay?

Basically they would lose a load of money. $6.2 billion in the first quarter of this year alone on Paypal

Is that the reason they actually give, officially?!

It's bang out of order. I'd love google to take them to court and give them a proper anal fisting.

Not officially no, its something to do with server payment authentication requring a reworking of the Ebay payment service or some such bollocks.

Unoffocially, its because they'd lose a few quid.

I used google checkout last week and saved the £10.

Seems ok and easy to use, but no idea what fees sellers are paying.
