Default Costco laptop deal

went to costco in sheffield today seeking a new laptop and dropped on a right deal - Toshiba satellite a100-998 model, basic spec is intel core duo chip, 2084mb ram, 256mb graphics, 200gb hd, 15in tft screen, dvd super drive, wifi etc, win xp media edition all for £528.00 cash in hand lol...apparently its cheaper coz everyone wants vista, will do 4 me.

Have you ever had a Toshiba Laptop before...................

Maybe they have improved but my experience is nothing but trouble.

You could have probably bought a close spec dell for that money.

i spent 1300 on an acer ferrari 3 years ago, had 4 major repairs inside 12 months, more fiat than ferrari, id never trust acer again as there support was crap too, and believe me theres nothing to touch this toshiba specwise for under 750quid

http://www.costco.co.uk/

I tried to register when they first came here but they only wanted "Professionals".
They had to drop that and let anyone in after a poor response. .
