just said 33 confirmed dead now, including the shooter, they just showed a video one of the students did on his mobile, gun shots going off in the background.

I just saw that vid, horrific
I remember watching Bowling for Columbine and the video footage taken in the school was unreal, bloody awful ting for everyone to have to go through.
Some right fucking weirdos about, not something we luckily suffer from here but no doubt it will happen one day.

Its gotta be all these computer games like grand theft auto and these crazy gun shooting movies they watch.
Americans aint right in the head, they live in a dream/unreal sort of world.
They say how free their country is but you cannot walk the streets...I tried it and I got so many funny looks Most of their cars as soon as you put them in drive the doors lock...Thats freedom?

Plus in this county when a kid gets bullied to the point of murder he cant get hold of a gun so if hes lucky a knife.
plus over here they are more likely to commit suicide than get a gun.

The USA has only itself to blame. They have city below see level with poor defences that are creaking and don't bother with repairs and people die. They allow guns to be sold to almost anyone, in some states very easilly and kids are regularly going around blasting others.
When you have a gibbon like 'W' Bush in charge whos face comes up like a baboons arse when asked what certain words mean then innocent people will continue to die.
Although there are some decent people and places over there, America is the devils playground. They gave us drive by shootings, obesity and many other atrocities. RIP to those inocent people however no one or there families deserve that.

7th ammendment RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS, enough said, there are three times more guns in the US than there are people, you do the maths.
In UTAH you can have a GUN at the grand old age of 14, the ONLY condition is one of RESIDENCY, ie if you live there.
Don't forget this is not just hand guns we are talking about in the US being allowed but things that wil stop a tank, ie RPG etc LEGAL TO OWN.
I think that a lot of it is the way that the GUN over there is treated as an accessory, and beleive they have themsleves to blame.
I send my warmest condolances to the familes of thse affected, as any right thinking person would, but they need to stop and look at their own way of life first.

It mentions the ratio of murders from the US to Canada and it is ridiclous.

To be one day just going for a lesson and to find a gunman roaming the corridors in a bullet proof vest, the doors chained and people throwing themselves from windows to escape.
Weird about the initial shooting two hours prior. Seems the university is coming under a lot of criticism and I'm not sure it's fair to start pointing the finger so early, we love having someone to blame.

Gareth has made the best point yet, two countries of nearly similar size joined along a VERY big border in the same part of the world, yet they are totally opposite ends of the scale regards incidents like this.
Lack of education amongst the general public leads to them electing stupid governments, said governments keep the education at this level to ensure re-election.
I hope Hilary Clinton gets in, if things dont change then they never will.
