Does anyone know anywhere that sells replacement engines?

Ive got a 1.8TD escort estate and the engines been cooked (cracked head, fucked water pump...) The car has been loaned to us by someone and i need to replace the engine before giving it back. Does anyone know of anywhere i could get one? enginesRus are something along those lines.

try specialised engines mate. not sure what their rep is like but they advertise in the ford mags so cant be that bad

 

would it not be cheaper and easier to just buy another car though????

diesels are dirt cheap

I agree Spiky, but the cars just had money spent on suspension, wheel bearings etc only a few weeks ago...seems like we're just pissing money up the wall if we scrap it need this like a whole in the head right now lol

i have a fiesta diesel one, swap the pump and ancillaries and it'll be the same Ł50 to get it out of my way!!!
