I could do with a speedy torrent for that episode sharpish!

Yeah the spin off will only have Gene Hunt in it...
Me n the missus reckon he died in the future so he could stay in the past, thats why the little girl from the test card turned off the Tv, that was him dying...
Gotta say the, both serise where the best thing on TV for years, gutted it ended, but also pleased it did, as had it carried on would have gone down hill.

yeah weird ending, just watched it again on bbc3 and it's like he's jumped off to go back into his coma to go back to the 70's? has he died or not though? tis a strange one, cos in the last few scenes he's messing with the radio in the granada and it says something along the lines of "sam, he's slipping away" and sam in the granada says we don't wanna listen to that and flicks to the next station..
i think as said above, he does actually die when the girl switches it off at the end?
