Drewman

Drove to the pub last night and as I came to a stop there was smoke pouring out of my engine bay. Thought shit, please dont be on fire! Opened up the bonnet and found it was steam, water everywhere, couldn't see any problems (it was dark too) then looked underneath and there was a puddle of coolant and none left in the tank.

Went into the pub for some water, put it in, it pissed it straight back out from the bottom hose (had split)

So I left it there over night as I couldnt get it home then this morning I got a tow truck out to tow it home, took off the offending hose, trip to Halfords for repair tape and to order a new one, fitted the repaired hose and refilled with coolant/water with no leaks or overheating

Will flush out the whole system when I fit the new hose once its in, thank fuck it wasn't the rad
