Default Mk3 Escort Bonnet
Where are the identifying marks on a Genuine Ford bonnet? Trying to establish if my bonnet is a pattern part or not, pictures would be useful is anyone has any.

A genuine Ford one will have the Ford oval stamped somewhere on the underside.

I think it will be near the heater intake grill but could be wrong.

You will have to look hard as its only about 20mm in size.

Yes it will be visible and not under the sound proofing. Some are not stamped very well so look hard.
