Its not just their insurance where you get crap service. We get our broadband through them, have had numerous problems with them trying to take payments that they shouldn't, our wireless box went tits up after a month, we spent hours on the phone at a cost of £90 ringing their tech helpline who couldn't accept it was the equiptment that was faulty. After they finally agreed we were right and they'd replace the box it took another 2 weeks of ringing before we actually got it, every time we rang we were passed from pillar to post trying to get some sense out of them. They even had the cheek to expect us to pay for a new box! And for the 2 weeks that we couldn't access internet they won't even consider a refund or credit to our account, as for the refund they promised for the cost of phonecalls to sort the problem, we're still waiting nearly 2mths later.

Useless bunch of incompetent w*nkers.

Forgot to reply here until I saw matts1's thread

My NCB Entitlement arrived today...but it's printed in a tiny box in the middle of the page instead of the normal full page layout (bitter? bitter are we goons?)

Not read the whole thread, but thought I'd take the opportunity to stick my knife in.

My mum was hit by a 3rd party Oct 2005.
Tesco told her to pay for the repair and they would pay her back (£650).
She finally got the money last month, March 2007!

Hopeless useless idiots.

I was given that ''it's better to get it repaired'' bull...no thanks, I'll just sit collecting the loss of use until you do something productive. By your records that'd mean I'd get mine in Jan 2008...probably pretty hopeful really

But sod it, I have my no claims, so my next unheard/unwanted claim will get directlines uncaring attention, woo and yay!
