Default corner weighting

is it worth doing on a road going car?

reason i ask is i have coilovers on my saff and i dont know whether they have been setup or not

ideally i would take to get the ride set cos it is a little low, and might be good to get it corner weighted at the same time.

how much does it cost and who can do it for me?

cheers

around 100 quid for corner weighting ive been quoted by a local place i've used for other work in the past, although its not very local to you

its meant to make a fair difference, although ive not been in a car to find out first hand ... yet

If you get your car corner weighted you need to do it with you sitting in it.

Problem is the minute you take a passenger out you have messed up your corner weights.

I have had mine corner weighted twice in different specs at Field Motorsport in Essex.

The difference it makes really is amazing.

We all know rs turbo's don't handle that well if we are honest.

I had coilovers all round with adjustable tca's on with a cage and door bars.

I was getting pissed off as the car had 250 bhp and didn't handle very well.

Gus recommended that I took it to Field Motorsport to be corner weighted. It completely changed the car for me. Was an absolute pleasure to give it death around a track and know that it handled so well.

Have now gone the full hog with the suspension and had another corner weighting session.

All that money spent on cloilvers and not having it setup just doesn't make any sense
