Mondeo ST220-who has one
I am considering getting one as a daily driver as the prices are now very reasonable and I like them much more than the old ST200.
Are they good cars, are there any particularly weak points, do they respond well to blue fin?
thanks

Had one for around a year and a half and only problem ever had with it was the wiring for the Hego sensor on the back bank of cylinders chaffed through and caused the engine management light to come on!!
Was a proper bastard to diagnose and i had the job of doing it as worked for Ford at the time and the car was still under warranty
Quite hard on tyres though and does drink the juice if you really thrash it, its probably the best handling car i have ever driven though and was seriously impressed with it
Sold it to get something bigger as have two kids and two ever growing dogs so bought a Shogun Sport instead
Would have another one again for sure but may be slightly swayed by the 2.2 TDCI versions as been told they have more torque than the 220's and will obviously be a lot cheaper to run

Car hire is cheaper over the weekend than mid week and the longer you have it the cheaper it is per day, for instance the ST for one day mid week was Ł62 a day, for 3 days over the weekend it was Ł25.60 per day, go figure
I did 310 hard, fast and enjoyable miles and it used Ł30 in diesel, Either way its just made me want one even more!
For 4 days in june over my birthday weekend i have booked one of these....
It came to Ł92 and with the hot weather it should be fun, you have to treat yourself once in a while dont you
