Default BIG Thanks To Stu@MSD

Just a quick thank you to Stu for spending the best part of yesterday sorting a few little things out on the Antique ready for Germany.

Had a few little closed loop and idle problems but got them all sorted and even done me a newer version of the chip so the car now runs PERFECT.

Thanks again Stu, Dan & Nic

What was the idle problem Paul!?

Mie has been a fucking pig on idle ever since we fitted the closed loop and L8!

My base idle screw is now wound right in to get it to about 900rpm without the ISCV connected, but as soon as we connect the ISCV it sits at 2.6k revs and won't budge an inch!

Can't seem to lower the CO past 3.8 either which is horrendously high for closed loop, should be 0.9%! Mind you, it's better than the 8ish% it was!

Sounds like you have a TPS and/or coolant temperature sensor problem.

to be fair to dan although I agree with you we dont all live close to someone who can check it over!!! It often seems a better option to try and fix problems remotely before taking the decision to drive 4 5 or 6 hours to MSD only to be told it was a £20 sensor at fault for instance.

Also glad to here the cars running nice Paul

Exactly Trev, that's why it was worth you and Richie having a look and Ryan checking all the wiring etc etc

I'll ring Stu tomoz now that we've exhausted all other avenue's..

If I need to semd the ECU up then so be it, if Stu wants me to drive up then not a problem, but at least we've had a go!

But geeze, it was a nice shiney wing mirror, and it didnt help you hanging it out on every corner AFTER you crashed with half of the Rings supply of mud and shrubs on your roof....
