I got the road angel navigator 6000, not had an issue with it.
It's also the speed camera detector, £3.99/month first 6 months free.
Cant see much difference from the Tom Tom Go 300 I had to be honest.
£179 from Halfrauds or Argooose

another vote for the tom tom one, absolutely flawless.
Unless you need the extra features like the bluetooth handsfree (which doesnt work properly anyway) or euro maps, there's no point going for a tom tom 310/510/710 to be honest. Fair enough, the screen is bigger, but your not exactly going to be sat far away from it are you? I find the tom tom one screen more than adequate.
Speed cameras database can be download for £2 from pocketgpsworld.com and it's spot-on. You can also find it on bittorrent too, i think the most recent one up there at the moment is from november 06. Voice packs and add-ons are readily available on there too.
I've used other sat navs in the past and some of them seem to struggle to pick up a decent connection to the satellites quickly (may be down to my heated front screen, dunno) but the TT One takes maybe 5-10 seconds and it picks it up.

Don't put any stock in the satnav blueooth integration/handsfree, all ones i've tried are fuckin useless and not loud enough. Tried it on 3 different phones as was thinking the blueooth on the phone was crappy, still no better

I bought a Tom Tom One a few weeks ago. I also opted for the camera and traffic option (£30ish for the year).
10/10 it's superb
I had a fully fitted Smart Nav (by trafficmaster) installed in my old work car, that cost my old work about £400 and then about £25 a month to run. IMO the Tom Tom is just as good, if not better as it's portable.
