Movie buffs!
Recommend me some good films, as I need to boost my collection somewhat as I might not have any TV connected for the next couple weeks after I move
Typically like action-y type films, but not adverse to a bit of horror/thriller like the Texas Chainsaw-esque films (got em tho). No soppy chick flicks But fire away with idea's

Funny films:
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Talledega Nights (the ballad of Ricky Bobby)
Shaun of the Dead
Action films
Watch All Star wars films in order
Matrix 1 and 2 - (dont bother with 3!)
Horror
Alien
Aliens
The Ring
Those are films that very quickly spring to mind

J & S B is absolute class if you like his films! (Did you know that they are all written and directed by the guy who plays Silent Bob?) In case you didnt already know, the other films are Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy.
Other films that I have enjoyed......
Monty Python and the Life of Brian (of course you have seen it before - but you really should watch it again!)
Tenacious D - The pick of Destiny (classic)
South Park the movie - Also, they are into a new series in the states -
check out www.mrtwig.net !
Churchil - The Holywood years

J & SB make appearances of some form in all of the above mentioned films! Dogma is the one you are thinking of - they are all pretty good films, but a little off the wall!
Jack black is great!
I personally also liked Miami Vice - but watch it without distraction, and with beer!
Serenity is quite good, but very Sci Fi - need to be into that kind of thing
