There are a couple of eclipses knocking around where i live - they seem to have stood the test of time better than the series 2, rustwise?? the 2 i see regularly are really clean cars

1.3 HCS is a great little economical runner, and you get leccy windows in these too!

shame they all came in 5 dr's otherwise the shells would have made ideal replacements for the rotting S2's that are about these days.
Dont know what they did with the eclipse but they seem to have lasted a lot better bodywork wise than any other MK4 escort!

my first car was a 1.3 mk4, was a rusty piece of crap but the engine was great, mine looked like an eclipse apart from the popular interior
1 or 2 of them round here even now- they do seem to have lasted well
