Default Footie Fans - Is this wrong of me?

I have 4 tickets to a certain champions league game that i have from my work. I have been given them to entertain one of our clients. We will get flights there, booze and food all on expenses and put up in a nice hotel.

Now here's the problem

I'm a liverpool fan and lets just say its not the liverpool game

Should i be going?

Might not matter to you.... but it would to me. I'd rather lick a dog's dick than go to see them, unless it's against Liverpool at Anfield

If you are a true football fan and want to see the very best clubs in europe play, you should go regardless of who is playing.

I know and understand that, thats why i said one of the best teams in europe(ie not liverpool) ... at a guess it is the best side in britain at the moment, and one of the best sides in europe! you could go and just support the other side.

Um, if your a fan of football, then whats the problem?

If someone gave you the keys to a brand new Evo and said you could have it for the weekend, would you turn your nose up saying "no, it's not a Ford" ?

Of course not. So why would you turn your nose up at flights, hotel, food, booze and footie tickets all for free just cos it's not your team? If you do, then you obviosuly don't *truly* like football "for the love of the game" and all that shit

Fuck me, I hate football, but I'd go for the rest

Boss has just done this, he is a gooner through and through.

he got comps for the last Man U European game and went along.

Football is football.

I had comps for Euro 96, Scotland Vs Holland. I am neither a Jock or Dutch, but still went.

now as a felow liverpool fan, id say go for it, ive gone to watch middlesbrough a couple of times, our lasses family all have boro season tickets, and if anyone cant go, i do, its a premiership match for free, and in your case, its an all expenses trip to a champions league game, so id defo say go for it, but then we come to united, if it is united, as a liverpool fan, no liverpool fan should be going to watch them, unless your wearing a roma shirt to wind the manc coonts up

I go to more games not involving Chelsea than I do involving them!

Go and enjoy it mate I am sports fan and I enjoy watching good football and big games with great atmospheres!

Its only complete blinkered no brain fooools that will only watch their own team! That type of fan may have hooligan tendencies as well in my experience...

I think you're right there Lee. As much of an LFC fan as i am i quite enjoy watching the man u games on tv Theres never a dull moment really.

Hard thing will be gritting my teeth, standing up, and "cheering" IF they score

I will NOT cheer if roma score
