Default Cossie’s Back

As some of you may know DaveyBoy had my car away for my birthday... and it came back running! For those who are unaware I’m pretty lazy with my Escort and when something goes wrong I am usually more than happy to put it in the garage and spend my un-hard-earned cash on shoes. So it was a fabulous relief to get my car back complete with new pads front and back (I had even gone past the metal) a service and a set up (thanks to Steve Scott’s lot) and a fire extinguisher (ho ho), tax disc holder and magic tree fitted (it’s all about the little things) and to top it off a lovely set of harnesses.

I love my fella

I’m sure he’ll say what is actually done at some point and I know he has some pictures but I just wanted to say thanks to him as well as Wapster (the brains) and Scottish Greg (the brawn) for all their hard work and late nights; Although the thought of them wielding a hammer at my car still fills me with cold fear.

And cheers to Wapster too for my new speakers to replace the ones I’d blown. I wonder what he’ll be doing next weekend

But the best pressie of all HAS to be the Pussy Wagon keyring x

Ahh got ya Nik. Ta for the card though and you're right, he is a diamond

Smit, true enough

Dave, no. Why would I need bucket seats?

Martin, I'm sure a little tub of bubbles will do. Simple things....

cause buckets have the two slots in the back rest for harnesses

std seats dont

unless your going to use the seat belt for normal driving and the harnesses when on track?

Dont understand why you cant use harnesses on standard seats? just cos they dont have the slots doesnt mean they dont fit or dont work

Look good IMO and work just as well

eh?

As for the harnesses I dunno. As someone with a shite back which generally hurts after an hours driving it's nice to be shoved back in the seat. No more back pain.

And Dave, the brainbox bit was for DaveyBoy. Christ you lot are slow today
So Dan are you Dan (flinty) Dan. I'm confused with people's logins!

Dave (unless you want me to use your nickname ) please read DaveyBoy's post above my brainbox one.. now do you see

And btw, why would I do that? No one can get in the back.. harnesses remember.

I forgot how bitchy you can be. On the blob?

PS: Want your toys back

I'm glad. I prefer it when we all play nicely So how much would you be wanting for one of your jobbies then?

A mate of mine who works for the right part of Ford to be trusted had offered to build me a pod of the same material as the dash, that way I would shove the boost gauge in the bottom right hand corner of the windscreen. That way it'll be in the line of sight but not in the way A pillar stylee. Thing is he'll take about a lifetime.

thing is, mines for 3 gauges, 52mm ones.

you're having a 60mm defi aren't you?

id go with what you said above... bottom right of windscreen . If you want I could bond the 60mm pod to the lower part of the a piller.. smooth it all in etc and spray it to match.. prob only cost about a score in parts plus your a pillar and defi pod (comes with the gauge)

but surley thats me being nice.. and im not...... am I
