Block bore with stress plate
Has someone measured how much do cosworth 200 block bores change if not bored with stress plate and if standard headbolts are used?
btw do people in uk use stress plate when modifying cosworth heads? I just heard that also the alloy cosworth heads do flex abit and it makes difference in valve seat sealing (etc) when bolted to block and that can be seen when the leak is measured before and after tighthening the head since there is significant difference. Anyone else noticed this?
