Default cheap easy RWD RS fun

how easy would it be to turn a mk6 RS2000 4x4 into rear wheel drive?

the cheapest and easiest way? (bodge )

can you not just disconnnect a few bits n weld a few bits up?

theres no rwd mk5 or 6 escorts to get the front hubs from, thats the tricky part

And the escort 4x4 rear axle is nowhere near the same as a escort cosworth,and not strong enough for rwd cosworth power...cheaper to buy a rwd cosworth

the vauxhall boys do it to turn the 4wd box fwd just by removing the sahfts and welding the box up,

sure it can handle 150 bhp piece of piss

thats what i was thinking, something alone them lines anyway

would it then send all 150bhp to the rear wheels?

sorry i misread it,i thought you wanted to put a cosworth engine in and run that power through the 4x4 rear axle

nah just buy a cheap 4x4 RS2k of ebay, bodge up the front wheels somehow

so they have no power going too them (but obviously still steer! )

n off i go

possible?

i would just buy a old bmw 325,capri,cosworth granada or sierra 2 litre.

yeah did actually think about capri

but i like the newish feel in the mk6 RS2k

sideways - yes i am a cheap skate

mk1/2 4dr not my cup of tea, although i would like a mk1/2 RS2k but im a cheap skate so thats out of the question
