Default Police Drivers - you have to admire them

Just out in the car, coming round an island when a woman police officer decided to pull out onto the island making me brake.

No sorry or wave, just drives off.

I follow her down a 40mph dual carriage way, two cars infornt of her doing 40mph. She rides the bumper of the second car until they are forced to pull over, she then rides the bumper of the first car (couple of feet away, 2 second rule hey?)

This car refuses to move and keeps going at 40mph.

The copper pulls into the inside lane, races past, then pull back in fron of the first car.

I am I wrong or has she driven with undue car and attention, tailgated, undertaken and commited a speeding offence??

All in around 3 minutes

Nothing can be done, she was a copper

Think all police cars should carry one of those stickers on the back saying "Hows my driving call 0XXXXXXXXX" as seen on taxis etc

And you found this surprising????

Standard issue police behaviour pretty much based on my limited experiences of them.

why weren't you on your phone videoing all of this as evidence mate?

coppers aren't the best loved people here, and this just goes to show you that, even with everyone doing their best to do the right thin, the ones that do the wrong thing fuck it up for the majority who don't

I often find the panda pop drivers are slightly 'lacking' in there driving skills; so this is not news.

As an aside, i have great respect for the bike cops as they are often inch perfect in there riding, same also goes for some of the older traffic cops.

I just had a bit of arguement with a copper on my lunch break.

First off id like to say most of them round my way are spot on. I get pulled alot in my 205 gti for some reason, and generally you can have a chat and a bit of laugh with them as there taking details and checking the car out.

But i just pulled in to a petrol station a minute ago . I didnt have my seat belt on and didnt notcie the copper paying for the petrol for his unmarked corsa.

As i walked in the door he blocked me coming in and said "you want to put your seatbelt on dont you". He was quite agressive the way he said it and was staring me down with a moody face on. I said "fair enough i will , sorry. No need to be so aggressive is their" He just stood there still in my way just looking me.

So i couldnt resit winding him up and said "Ah you must be one of them Special CUNTstables i keep hearing about". He then asked me what i meant and i said "nothing" as i shuffled round him and he jsut walked out

What a tosse,r he is the kinda of cop that gives them all a bad name and causes problems cause he comes across as aggressive so makes people kick off.

Ive had some bad and good experiences with cops.

theyve been alright recently with me.

I had a lucky escape wa while back when i turned into a side road and cut the corner slightly over the give way lines just as a cop car was emerging at speed and nealy took off his bumper

I thought id be ok cos it was 2am and dead quiet so 30mph swerve round corner not expecting to meet a cop car with no lights on DOH.

I was lucky that the female cop felt sorry for me as i was still in my "hack myself up" phase before i got sent to hospital so she let me off with a warning on the traffic offence and narrowly avoided a Section 136 only after they phoned the Naval Police up to check i was registered as getting care off the navy, as the blood was soaking through my shirt an they thought i was nuts.

Had it been a non-military town id have had the night in the local mental unit. JOY!!

She went MAD and started telling me "IM GOING TO BE EVEN LATER FOR WORK NOW !!" So she was in the wrong BUT NO she got to other coppers out to the scein and it was her word over mine Or tho the older copper did say to her "whot was the point in calling us out he's Insured and you have all his details

And my insurnce company also said if i fight it IE go to court i would come off worse (get points ect for it ) so i lose nearly 3yrs ncb @ the time

I was driving behind one in a panda car last week, 20mph on a 30 road, went to overtake her as the road broke to 2 lanes and she pulls into the outside lane, same speed Not wanting to undertake, I waited until she moved back in, at which point it turned to 40mph. She got a footful of 2nd gear past her and a nice big blast of Bailey ptsccchh valve right through her open window.

Have it...... dumb bint

i've just remembered an incident with my mum. driving along quite hapily and inocently at her usual 55mph, string of traffic coming the other way all doin roughly 60 and as she goes round a blind bend sheis met face to face with a copper coming the other way overtaking the line of moving traffic in the middle of her side of the road.

closing speed of 120+ mph easily and could well have killed the both of them

luckily there was inough rad and grass verge for my mum to swerve out of the DUMB FUCKER'S way.

she gets home an tells me all about it an then rings the head office for our area. we know the local head copper woteva he's called thru my mum cos of a community action thing. tell him all about it and the copper got a diciplinary which probably meant he got FUCK all but at least it was something against him in his file.

I think its worth reporting things like this because eventually someone will see the files of these shit coppers an then fire them, hopefully.

does my nut in though cos i got chased, blocked in down a road, car attacked and damaged (of which is my mum's focus which is very depended upon) chased again at over 120 mph while these other 3 cars were tryin to box me in (no they were not cops) and every time one of them (the vectra which was the only car quicker than mine) would pass me he would be inches off my front bumper an then slam the brakes on (remember that this is well over 120 mph). almost ran me off the road too!

police did fuck all. tookj us a week of phoning up for them to finally contact CSI an get someone out to dust for plrints by which time they had all gone

the police in this country need a kick up their arse

closest police station aint manned. incidently it was the road next to that police station they trapped me in!

the next closest was about 5 mile away an the road i needed to turn down he overtook me by so i was going in the wrong direction.

eventually they just gave up.

mum said i should have put her in reverse an run the fucking cunts over when they started hitting the car.

the driver of the vectra that had blocked me in from infront got out an startedd rolling his sleeves up as he was walkin toward my door with an expression that said "another person to kick shit out of".

to get passed i had to drive on the path/grass. if he had left his door open i would have taken it off!!!

and before anyone thinks i brought it on myself from trying to race them or something stupid thats a load of bollox. i got caught up in the middle of their pack on my way home. one of them was slowing right down and pulling over to the curb where there were some lads on scooters. no indicating but passengers windo went down an looked like they were aboutto stop. i indicate an pull out to go round them. all of a sudden he pulls right infront of me (no indication). only way i could avoid hitting him was to boot it an swerve ("steer to avoid" for anyone who wants the correct terminology) past him in the entrance way to a local gym club.

They are far from untouchable, I wouldn't think twice of giving someone in a Panda car a right rollocking if they were driving dangerously. Traffic car would be different though. Just note the registration and the time and report it to the local station.

My oldman had a run in with two women coppers oneday on the way to work they were in there own car and driving like dins overtaking and cutting people up my oldman followed them and managed to pull them over and have a right go at them they told him they were off-duty coppers and he told them he didn't give a fuck who they were they should not be driving like that if there not on duty and on a call and not in there own car anyway.

Two weeks later he gets a leter saying that they are doing HIM!! for dangerous driving and he needs to go down the police station needless to say he was not happy so he goes down there and asked to speak to the top cowbay and has a right go at him and tells him that it was the two women coppers that were driving dangerously and that he has witnesses to back him up he was then told that they would look into the case further A week or so later he gets a letter saying that they are not going to contiue with the matter

I bet nothing happend to the two women coppers tho

if you have bad service from the old bill or see somthing happens you dont like which isnt on,just get in touch about making a complaint.
i did once and got a meeting with the chief constable,i made a complaint
which went down on record, and got to have a pop about the lack
of respect for a upstanding pillar of the comunity.
you feel a LOT better moaning at someone high up the chain
and its great to see a high ranking copper wriggle trying to stop
me making a complaint which went on record and is shown in
statistics
