Default Is it worth me upgarding the exhaust housing?

I will be looking into upgrading the turbo shortly on my Sierra Cosworth as I will be getting an Intercooler and NMS Gunship conversion.

I am thinking about upgrading the exhaust housing and was wondering if the standard one is a 0.48 and would I benefit from a 0.63 housing.

Cheers
Dave

Ask Karl for a definitive answer as its his map, but I suspect all you will notice different with the .63 is more lag and no real gains due to the limits of the injectors, as the point he spikes the boost high on the ones ive seen done by him is not where the .48 is particuarly restrictive anyway.

Typically "gunship" is a term used on here to mean:

Use the standard injectors (although possibly whack the fuel pressure up a bit)
Spike the boost massively in the mid range where the induction stroke timebase is long enough for the injectors to cope
Wind the boost off at high rpm to avoid running out of fuel

I'll give him a ring a bit nearer the time just thought I'd ask on here as I've spotted a cheap 0.63 housing.

I phoned him about my car thats on a gunship was told standard T3 with 360 deg thrust best response, although he can lower the boost to use a T34 but only with a .48 housing any bigger would not work properly with a gunship so I would say don't bother unless you want to tune further, then I would stay at standard till you can get everything done that you want.
