how much? i put about 3 quid in by mistake once, put a tenners derv in to dilute and it was fine. just take the feed pipe off the fuel rail and keep pumping the plunger, or take the pipe off the tank and drain it.

dont bother,...

just brim it with diesel,...will be ok...

unless you already brimmed it with petrol.....mong,..lol...

in that case just undo the fuel pipe from botom of tank, into bucket or similar, then brim it with diesel

remove the pipe and let it all come out
diesel needs lubrication so if you put petrol in it it fucks this up
on newer motors even the sniff of petrol can cause huge amounts of damage to the fuel system so better to have to fork out a few quid now than a few hundred later on

just turning the ignition on can fuck the fuel pump when it primes! Get as much of the fuel out of the tank as possible, then as said, brim it with diesel

I would just feel it with diesel, some petrol in diesel will do no harm.
My old TDi Golf failed its NCT ( the irish MOT) because of emmissions,
put a fiver of petrol in 15 quids woth of diesel and it passed.

If you live in a fuck off cold area (Norway or somewhere) it can help to stop the diesel from freezing, or so I've been told, maybe wrong

my apprentice put 20 quids worth in a transit once filled it with diesle and it was fine after a week kept staling for a while at junctions ,so every time a quater tank was used i topped it up so it was getting diluted each time

If it has no cat it will be fine, I did this but with £20 in my escort diesel, and it smoked a bit power went up and down and after two full tanks of diesel was perfectly ok, took pump along to a CAV centre where freind works and he says does not harm pump at all, and as he pointed out it is a common trick to put some in artics during winter to stave off fuel freeze.
