either got a ba leak or the sender is fubar!! or u were parked on a hill when u read it then parked on flat

 

as above or some c*nt siphoned ya petrol

for sum reason the stupid thing goes up to 3/4 whether i put Ł10 or Ł30 in
im gonna kick it soon

 

Bread same thing started happening to me. Turned out it was the earth. The gauge would work okay for a day or two then suddenly have 'lost' loads of fuel. Eventually the gauge stopped working altogether. I haven't got around to fixing it yet but apparently its the earth on top of the petrol tank. This could be your problem mate.

 

hmm, maybe get a new sender then
