Motor Bike Mechanics or Moto x'er. Question.
Rebuilding my YZ 250 lump.
How on earth do you split the magneto of the crank is it Tapered?? If so what type of puller do you use to get the fooker off??
Also how do you split the Conrod from the crank??

Crank will have to be put in a special jig mate to get true, best to pay a bike shop to do that as it dont cost much and need special tools, can buy complete cranks from wiseco.

Well I am outstanding two things. One is getting the Magneto off the crank. The other is getting the Conrod and Main bearing changed. I really wanted this done asap rather than having to wait for tools or send stuff off. Apparently there is a chap in cambridge somewhere who knows his onions. So i'll have a hunt on Monday
