Windows experts......Help please
Can anyone explain how I can dual boot my computer please.????
Presently it runs windows XP Pro and the disk is formatted NTFS
I want to add either WIN 98 or WIN 2000 Pro so I think I will need to
create a non NTFS disk partition firstly ???
Ideally want it to ask me which OS to run when I boot it.
Thanks

Windows 98 wont work as it cant see NTFS on the local drive.
Windows 2000 is ok though.
this may help you.

another option is microsoft virtual machine, you can download a copy from microsoft for free, and it emulates in every way a dos, 3.1, 95, 98, 2K or XP. IIRC it even comes as part of vista ...

good point dave.
another one is VMWARE which is the same deal as microsoft VM, but it's been around for donkeys years, and is probably far better
VMWARE would be the easiest way to go i think

PS - me hard drive is fat32 and xp hard drive is ntfs ......but you could run xp on fat32 so you can share info between the 2 drives
