Anyone been to Cairo?
If so which hotel did you use? Wife wants to go end of June and see the usual sights so I'm looking for somewhere decent to stay. Not fussed if its in the centre of town or on the outskirts, just a good one with a pool.

It will be about 40 degrees in the summer mate. Better to go in the winter.
Could always stay at one of the resorts like Taba Heights or Sharm el Sheik and get a flight there for the day. Would probably be nicer than staying in Cairo itself.

Im going on the 3rd with work, will be staying at the intercontinental, 5 stars meant to be amazing!! Im going for a week which spreds the weekend so some site seeing at the weekend!!
