Default Front bumper modification time again .....

Need to get a bit better airflow through the front bumper of my car, but want it to be as neat as possible, but also want to do it myself ... So....

Heres how my old one turned out, not great, but as Ive done it before I sorta know what to do/how to do it better...

Front of mine:

Its not gonna need mega loads cut out, thought about getting a drill bit that cuts say a 2" - 3" circle either side the plastic behind number plate, and just using a jigsaw to go across the top of the circles and the bottom (if this makes sense) to leave a letterbox type hole curved at either end.

Doing this I would have thought would increase air flow drastically, especially with all the sponge stuff removed from the back.

Any thoughts, ideas and pics welcome!

if the plate covers the cut out, ala chip's calibra, it'll not matter how big ghte hole is

on the other hand, you could always get another 90 spec bumper and chop the top bit out and graft it into the bottom section upside down

at least there won't be great big cut ut lines in the bumper for the haterz to point at

No you'd have to be very unlucky for a stone to go in a tiny hole, more chance if its a hole/gap that could fit a size 11 shoe in

But i guess its just a risk we all take to make our cars run better
