evening...

after fitting my rs turbo engine into my cab, i have no hot air coming through. the car doesnt overheat, and the pipes too and from the heater matrix are hot.

yet when you swich the hot on there is no hot air, just cold/very luke-warm air...


i have had the dash out to change the loom, so could i have done somthing then?

 

mate its the heater matrix has blocked,,,,, take it out and try to flush it gently and then refit, if that dont work then theres no water in the system as that also stops the heaters working

 

As ginge sais, either that or you've disturbed something when removing the dash?

I'd keep the matrix in situ and disco the hoses and flush it out with a hose first to see if tht works?

 

ill give that a go, its deffo got water in as the pipes are hot, and the car has no overheating troubles
