why compliate things ?

are you planning on running a really big turbo?

has no advantages over a internal wastegate on a small turbo.

As rapidcossie says I have carried out the conversion to my ERST and have to say it was a lot of work. I did it because I have a couple of special turbos that had odd flanges and no internal wastegate.

To make fitting one worth while your turbo should have a small turbine housing meaning you have to by-pass a lot of exhaust gas, also you have to take into consideration how much boost you want? again that dictates how much gas you want to by-pass the turbine. Finally if you have a 1600 you probally wont produce enough gas to make it worth while?

However if you want a conversion doing let me know.

Simon.

you dont just fit a external wastegate because you wanna bypass alot of air

its as simple as,,, if the turbo you want doesnt have an internal eastegate you need an external one

Ok mate.

Its a T304 Turbo, .63 ex housing, standard manifold.

I was thinking of getting an adaptor flange, 38mm wastegate what do you think?

he actually wants screamer pipe i recon,,,,, he prob also wants antilag

bet hes never done over 130 on the motorway either

think christian can supply a gay screamer conversion for ya mate,,, would be cheeper ( just) than buying a t34, THEN buying a external wastgate THEN manifold THEN what what ever else

what ever happened to people modding cars for more power , have we all turned into posers

Do a real nice ext. gate
Have to agree with the majority, the screamer will do you head in...in a very short time
Ive got a 35r but i'm gonna run the dump pipe back into the system just a little further down.
