STd interwarmer (cooler)
You're probably hitting the ACT ignition retard- its got a bit warmer over the last few days.
At 65'c act temps the ignition retards on an RST to protect it- std intercooler will do this very very very quickly
OR
the knock sensor may be sensing knock and doing the same thing.
If so thats not good- but a remedy is to remove the knock senser and wrap it up in bubble wrap and cable tie it to the body so it cant sense knock. For the car to run properly the knock sensor needs to be connected still
If you'd got a boost pipe problem the car wouldn't idle properly anyway.
Those are 2 things to consider and look at...

wheres the knock sensor mate, act's shouldnt be a problem cause it hadn't been runing long and actuators woud right down cause i was running it in, shud be on about 6psi. the car was running about 19psi when i got it could it be that it was set up 2 run at that boost and ive reduced it.

you know ACT means Air Charge Temp not actuator? thats what shings was refering to,(unless you are saying because you wound down the boost the ACT wont be getting that high, which they wont)
But if you had the car set up for 19psi and you've reduced the boost to 6psi,i would say thats the problem,it more than likely needs re-set up.

Sounds very much to me like the chip in the ECU
If its a turbosystems chip, they limit their boost to 1.5bar, if it goes past this, its like the car has hit a brick wall then carries on accelerating....
Try lowering the boost and see if that helps
But why are you running a chipped car on standard intercooler, if you are?

right, tried windin the boost up 2 wat it was runnin b4, car run better but still shut down, so decided 2 try some other stuff. changed the position of the throttle position switch on the inlet & it kangaroo'ed everywhere. so disconnected it & it run fine. no shuttin down under hard acceleration etc, so is a new switch needed?
