Bleeding brakes, with new lines???

Default Bleeding brakes, with new lines???

i've now fitted totally new brake lines, and will need to bleed them

but is there a special way of getting fluid in??? as remember there would be no fluid at all in the system at all???

yes pour it in the header tank ..... sorry

i know a girl whos engine oil light came on ...

and guess where she put the oil in

yes she filled the brake fluid header tank to the brim with engine oil ..

some mothers do have em

leave the nipples open for a bit, whilst filling, takes the back pressure off the master cylinder seal and wont damage it.

Not a fan of pressure bleeding kits when doing that tho

start bleeding the system from the furthest point from the master cylinder

the youth

as aps have 2 bleed nipples

the calipers each sides got one

is there a special way to do it

sorry if its a question just pondering

mine are ..

Front brakes:
AP Racing 4-Pot Calipers with 330mm grooved AP discs
(40 vane race version not the cheaper road version) (New this year)
Ferrodo Ds2500 friction material. (New this year)

Rear brakes:
305mm vented disk conversion from Mike R. (New this year)
Ferrodo Ds2500 friction material. (New this year)

mine are a bit spongy at the moment but all garages booked up to have a look

I know on Evo's with Brembos you do the outside nipple first on each caliper and then the inside one.

The procedure for an evo is nearside rear outside, nearside rear inside, offside front outside, offside front inside, offside rear outside, offside rear inside, nearside front outside, nearside front inside That's what we did the other week and the calipers had been off the car 3 weeks.

Yes still it starts dripping through then bleed as normal
