Haha, awesome
Always wondered what happened to it
Almost the same as it used to be too, just nowhere near as low
The current owner, whoever the hell he is, text me on saturday to ask if i still had the V5.
The answer, seeing as ive not even seen the car for like, 4years, was no
My home made chicken mesh RS500 grilles are gone now it seems
But my de-oranged rear lights still look good
Looks like the same scabby drivers wing? Suprised if it is, I wanted to change that myself.
Always wanted to put an RS500 rear wing n front splitter on it too.

Tho by looks of it its a car in progress (as its not got the big brakes and suspension on it now by looks of it) so id guess its gonna have some 8s on the front and 10s on the rear soon as its ready (ok, thats what I would do anyhow )

This is gonna be a track car not a concourse car so there will be a few blemishes but the point of the car is to see how well it goes not how well it looks.
Should be a monster when finished.

It wont be fun, unless 5k+ power only is whats fun.
And ive driven a GT35'd 3dr, and trust me, thats NOT fun unless your fun is just boring straight line high speed stuff.
Unresponsive pain in the arse with a high boost threshold is more like it.

Well done Geoff!!!
Can i just say I think it is wrong that everyone is telling Geoff how to build his car and what for. I have known him for years and he knows what he wants out of the car and why he has put that turbo on it.
He has been working on it for ages and everything he has done on that car he has tried his best to make as perfect as possible.

no idea if its the wrong turbo - the biggest turbo i have ever had is a t34 which is more than fun enough for me.
As Jay has said above, Geoff has been working on old cossies for ages so im sure he knows what he wants out of it, even if it is the wrong turbo for his application.
Not my car, his decision, his turbo

Lee I am not saying you have not had any experience with a GT35 on a 3 door track car.
All I am saying is that I have known Geoff for about 8 years and in that time he has had, worked on, mainly rs cars. He knows what he wants out of the car and what would work.
I know his last saph used to be a really animal in its prime.
