i.ve pulled my oil dipstick out to check the oil,and the bottom of it is missing... the thin bit where you see the level... and part of the springy bit... i dont actually know how much has dissapeared, but i'd guess 3 inches or more.... do you reckon i can drain the oil and use a bendy magnet to get it out... or do you think i'll end up having to take the sump off? cheers

 

took the sump plug off today.. and stuck a magnet in the hole... and blow me.... there was the missing bit
