Does anyone have any idea what the (rough) value of alloy is per kilo at the moment?

would all depend on the grade and cleanliness,work on 84p per kilo for wheels.thats todays price.

My mate normally gets a tenner each for alloys, which is weird as thats about double what Tim is saying

sold a nearly mint xr4x4 wheel, for £1.39 on ebay should have scraped it!!!

got a stack of granada alloys, i need to get rid of before bbq season, sould make me some beer money

remove the wheel weights and valves as they will classit as clean then and get a better price, around here it's about 7 quid a wheel, 14inch dogleg alloy was 6.80 each.

thats why the price dropped market getting flooded with stolen copper.
we did manage to get a few tonne in wile the price was high

when i weighed a load of cozzy stuff in heads rads coolers wheelsthey paying £1100 a tonne
cats the the money makers at min got 30 for small cats and £55 for large ones

my mate works at local quick fit in town and had had key cut for the back gates we been aving the cats away out the metal skip

weigh all mine in at morley waste traders in cas, that price was at start of year so as above may have gone down, just wasnt expecting it to drop 1k in two months. Havent got any reciepts to hand but think it was 3.5k bright and 2.8k tinned.

Amazing how quick it can happen sometimes, a mate of mine phoned up one day and was quoted 2300, so took it in next day and got paid out 2900
