i dont mind Coronation Street as it goes!
I liked top gear back in the day, its just cack only my opinion, you are entitled to yours, its wrong though

Nail, Head, its an hour of easing viewing TV! Loved this episode but Lamar could do with a slap how far up his own arse was he!

TG is the only thing on TV i make a point of trying to watch, piss funny, i was sat on my own tonight, in tears of laughter.
TG isn't about car reviews any more, that was all in the "wierdy beardy who likes diesel" era.. it's a full-on entertainment for petrolheads program now, and makes no excuse for that.

sorry i think top gear is more likle a comedy show now...id rather see more cars reviewed with the humour mixed in

getting a bit OTT on the features, it was at its best when they were having a laugh whilst reviewing the cars, I think the trip they did in the Zonda/Ford GT/F430 spyder was about the best I reckon.
And that mustang is absolute rank, if there's anymore proof needed that yanks cant build cars then it was on top gear tonight, all the technology is pre war FFS, the icing on the cake was clarkson prefering it to the M3
Give me that old stang every time, still enough left over for a half decent E46 M3 as well

they don't do decent reviews of cars anyway
all its about is how quick you can get it round the track
i wonder why they don't stick aygo's and micra's and stuff round the track.............................

and like Stavros said.. Live axles are great for straight line acceleration... you won't see horrendous camber changes like on a cossie rear beam, for example.I enjoyed the show.. I don't watch it for car reviews, just to see what sort of craziness they can get up to each week!
I'd've liked to seen the limos being built though.. if only to find out why Hammond's one looked like it had been attacked by someone with a mallet.

6 shows a series is a bit pants, but they always leave us wanting more
there should be a constant series going on, with this sort of sho saved for every month or so
that way we still get our kicks by watching them being shot at and we still get the proper reviews

With out doubt the best motoring programme on tv
They totally revamped and upgraded it because nobody wanted to see the old stlye of reviews they used to do as they were as boring as hell
Its more of a comedy programme now as thats what people want to see, a simple case of supply and demand, its not the huge sucsess (sp) it is just by chance and has been thought out to provide the entertainment people are looking for.
Its one of the only programmes on tv these days that i make a point of not missing, this and 24!!

After watching last nights TG, I am currently considering my decision to sell my 67 390GTA. The plan was to get a new 07 GT, I even had it on ebay a few weeks ago, but it didnt make its reserve. The Hamsters 390 made me think I may be making a big mistake Nothing to do with the review of the new Mustangs, its just the 67 looked so damn cool

Without testing the latest Corsa, surely they can do something interesting with "real-world" cars? The regular reviews of supercars strikes me as pointless - without a lottery win I'm unlikely to test drive, far less own, one of these so why should I care how fast it is, or how soft the leather is?
But the comedy should continue.
And did anyone notice that all their cars got new Q plates after getting the SVA test? That proves Q plates are still in use, but I wouldn't have said that the MGF was modified enough to need the new registration.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
I can only assume (hope) that because of the accident they didnt do much more filming and so had few cars to review and were using that series as a stop-gap before the new filming for the summer where hopfully they will actually REVIEW a car.
Overall I was very disappointed with the latest season, if the next is going to be the same then its time to axe it, if they are going to look at cars again then fair play, i suppose at least they came on to give us some hope.
I swear they said they would review the Golf GT, i didnt see a review, was there one?!

Tg is more a lifestyle programme now, aimed at all things petrol head Funny as fuck most of the time, why the hell would you want to swap it for skoda vs VW diesel car reviews? And 99% of the people saying they wouldn't do billie are talking shite, 8 pints and most things would do
