Mega Squirt Gurus Onboard?
Where to start with this got my eye on one of these Mega Squirt units prebuilt from http://www.extraefi.co.uk to run some throttle bodies for Puma 1400 is what we want to do. Big problem is how to fit the fucker so all the dash works, being honest i rather pay someone with experience fit it for me so the big Q is who or where will touch these? Or ther isn alternative ecu could i use better suited?

Started fitting mine this weekend on a mk6 escort 1.8 16v 115
Had the engine running off the megasquirt in 4 hours and i made a loom up as i went now its no where near done but it started first atempt and i have left the eec v in place so still have pats working.
Just have a minor fueling issue its running far too rich but hey it did run and did it rev lol by the time i finish i should have everything in the dash working well temp and rev counter as there the only affected items first time using one of these for me as i wanted to learn so bought a cheap system
Have a set of 130 spec cams and gsxr 750 throttle bodies to go on at some point but would like the engine running right as is first

Not CAN BUS cars bit before that time i think built in 99? its EEC5 and the dash is digital, think PATS is built into the ECU cannot find EDIS external module anywhere think thats inside the ecu too? Far as we know everything is run from ECU therfore must piggy back onto it this is why im out of my depth, older cars seem easier but newer ones stump me
