depends what you want from the engine and what your budget is really...

The rods and bolts are a weak point if you want a big power high revving engine...

Default i think you could help me.

cheers mate.I was wondering if you would be able to help me understand some more things as i am new to doing my own engines,if you dont mind.

This is what i had in mind: 200 BHP
starting from the bottom, would it be worth my while to get better parts like uprated bolts(APR,BURTON POWER for instance).
I would of thought that the bearings would also be a weak part if the bolts and rods were,so would i need uprated bearings?
I'm thinking i would need a reground crank am i right in thinking this?
Would i benifit having my flywheel lightened to 220mm (should i bother)?
Back to pistons, would i be better off buying low comp but i havnt got £500 to be spending on them so should i just buy standard and chop 0.5mm off to make them low comp?
I'm taking the bottom end to an engineer

If you could answer any of these questions for me that would fantastic, cheers mate Louise.
