Default MY LATEST PROJECT....FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN OFFROADING ;-)

i decided to give my suzuki a revamp..things started getting dangerous after i welded the rear diff as it gets you into some stupid places..and it only had a fibreglass canopy roof

here it is before

during its facelift

and the finished product....sills relaced with seam welded 4x4 box section and full cage, with diagonal on roof.made and cut by a friend and welded together myself..welded and gusseted oto the new box sills

respray was a big job...took me about 20 mins with satin black aerosols!
seriously good fun for very little money
sell those old cossies offroadings where the funs at

droptopRST
i just cut up a tintop 410 sj and shortened the roof

Adam_BlackRS
yep it is leaf over axle...the kit was from rhino rays i fitted it to it about 3 years ago
thje arches are offa vitara i bought for spares and just chopped the arches a bit to fit, the rims are 7x16 grand vitara and the tyres are recip maxi,s 235x85x16... ithink they work out at 33" tall...they have lifted it so my diffs now have 11" of ground clearance is that an internal cage?
the weded diff transforms it..you will need the cage with that fitted! good pics!
timrud
cheers whats your mates name on difflock?

tony and gareth..coooooonts!

i just bought another one tonight its a standard gaylord white one with white soft top roof ...was wondering if mike r will be interested in it?

Kev, Yeah, its a internal cage

We're thinking of getting a coil over conversion to do away with the leaf springs and shackles. We're already running Pro Comp shocks and leaf springs.

We really wanna do a diesel conversion as well

Mmmmm, defo going to have to keep an eye on ebay for some of those wheels

Here I am trying to donut one

It didn't work

I managed to break both rear shocks within 10 mins of hiring it.... but it was a PROPER jump man!

The rest of the week was how shall we say... 'bouncy'
