Thanks to Dave (Banhambuilt) for posting this up..........

I purchased the reg number from DVLA about a year ago, but only put it on the car this week (Monday).

Thanks for all the replies

Just to clear ONE thing up: It has DISC brakes on the rear

"is it a real one" - I still get asked this at petrol stations now'n'again

If anybody is interested, DVLA still has L6 ECU available for Ł 250.00

As for the white Es Cos with P8 ECU..............I noticed that the plate was issued a couple of years ago, so might see that car at a show sometime

Wheels were off a rally car, chap from Yate (near Bristol) had them and his Group A Es Cos rally car for sale, but lucky for me (and SiB) we managed to buy some of the MO's off him (he had 28 of them as the spares package )

8 x 18's with 15mm offset......I think SiB's are still white (but his are 32mm offset).

Nice plate Doug, as said last week!

And now you all know why I love the Compos - I've got a set of the same to replace my little 17 inch versions!

The comment above about it being Pink made me chuckle

Good little post this one

TBH I got so used to cleaning my Super T's after 5 years of owning them (still got the T's - wont be selling them) that I struggle with all those wide open spaces on the MO's

Think that might be a couple that run Black Cat Racing (or similar to that), or George from Devon Group. Both have similar looking Escorts.

Aye, thats George from Devon Group. Doubt he in recent years had standard wheels as he is on Big brakes at the front.

That car with standard wheels is the one that belongs to the Black Cat Motors couple.

George's mate has a S1 so that sounds like the one you have seen for sure.

Escorts look flipping ace in RED
