the point is, the base model does not have all those things that 'you don't need', and so is a lighter car for it and more purely focussed on the driving experience

those things are optional extras for people who want that type of car rather than an out and out hot hatch.

seems to make sense to me.

its nice but needs more power the game has moved on the last type r was very raw im not sure what this one is trying to be with cruise control etc

surely they can get round the fuel differences and give the British market full blown engines....
